Q... How can the Target Master Laser Sight be used to judge target distance?
A... The laser may be used in conjunction with the pin sights. When the laser is sighted in to
correspond with a sight pin, both indicate the arrow's point of impact at that distance. Since the laser in mounted below the pin sight, a triangulation effect occurs. When the laser is adjusted to say 30 yards, the laser beam will point to the same spot as the pin sight at that distance. However, if the target is not truly at 30 yards the two do not
correspond. If the laser beam is below the point indicated by the pin sight, then the target is less than 30 yards away. If the laser beam is above the point indicated by the pin sight, then the target if is at greater than 30 yards.

Q...Once you have the laser
sighted in at ground level, how long does it take and what is the process for
the adjustment for sitting in a 20ft high tree stand.
A...If you have an existing sight
pin setting for the tree stand yardage, sighting the laser is very easy. Simply
adjust the laser spot to point to the same location as the pin sight at the same
distance. |
